Azure Cloud Architect
Our client is a leading player in Microsoft Cloud Consulting, Software & Cloud Economics with a focus on optimization, transformation & compliance.
The Cloud Architect drives high priority customer initiatives and is a technical role that is accountable for the end to end customer cloud deployment. The Cloud Architect is the team Subject Matter Expert in consultancy and managed services to address customer needs with cloud technology and solutions. The role supports sales and delivery teams in discovering opportunities, gathering customer requirements, performing Cloud Assessments, architecture and designing technical solutions. As the architect of customer solutions, centrally involved in defining and executing plans and projects with global/regional/local delivery resources, with quality assurance and customer success in adopting cloud technology.
Description:
- Creating Microsoft Azure Cloud Readiness Assessment, Cloud Adoption Framework & Cloud Governance model with customers:
◾ Customer facing -> leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions with customers to drive cloud deployment
◾ Assess and develop migration solutions tailored to customer requirements to drive cloud adoption
◾ Aptitude for delivery including architecture design, hands-on implementation, and project management across local and remote resources
- Act as project lead interface between the customer and Crayons delivery team
- Business Value Assessment (economics of the cloud = # of licenses, choosing the best suitable licensing model, financing)
- Pre-sales support for sales teams involving positioning of Cloud Solutions, pre-sales qualification, and opportunity identification as well as post-sales ensuring a successful deployment
- Preparing documentation & technical parts of the bid
- Subject Matter Expert
- Capable of architecting & supporting cloud agnostic solutions/multi-cloud
- Stay current regarding new cloud trends, new Microsoft Azure products and services
- Mentoring Cloud Consultants & other technical team members
Requirements:
- Implementation experiences with IaaS, PaaS solutions (Devops approach, CI/CD, Scripting, virtualization)
- Previous experience with developing migration plans, cloud economics, statement of work and client deliverables
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure products and services
- Capability to create well-arranged project documentation
- Communication & workshop-leading skills
- Business oriented approach

- Good English
