The mission: bring and establish well known pan-european VAD (value added distributor) into Czech and Slovak market
The vision: became no.1 VAD in these regions in security, networking and management products
You know how the market looks like. Competition is tough and battle for customer is raging. But where the other fights, the third can rejoice.
Be the one who brings new IT distributor into the market. Distributor which is aware that in order to be succesfull here they need to provide best customer service experience, top-notch technological (presales) support and have dedicated team. But first they need leader. Leader that has ability to sense what market wants/needs, can build long-lasting relationships with partners and creates the best possible business environment for all to prosper. Leader with passion to build something new who is not afraid to get his hands dirty.
Client is a strong VAD in central-european region (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Adriatics, Hungary) focusing mainly on security, networking and management IT technologies such as Palo Alto, A10, F5, HP Networking, CheckPoint, Juniper, HID, Ruckus and others. In 2016 they reached 52mio EUR revenue, covered 30 vendors, had 690 partners, operating in 7 countries. Now they want to open Czech and Slovak market.


I am looking for a key role of Country Manager.


Startup phase:
  • Creating strategy that will work for local market
  • Starting and building relationships with partners
  • Generating projects/business opportunities
  • Presenting solutions (Proof of concepts)
  • Executing marketing (events, speaking at 3rd parties conferencies, press)
Growth And Establishment phase:
  • Leading and hiring team
  • Responsibility for P&L
  • Strategic business development
We need person that has:
  • Experience with building profitable channel business
  • Strong knowldege of local IT partners
  • End customers relationships
  • Knowledge of IT security, networking products/solutions
  • Ability to work alone at first and act as an manager in long-term
  • Strong ability to generate business
  • Entrepreneural spirit
