The vision: building a profitable branch with 6-8 people to deliver high quality services in IT procurement area

Markit was born with one and only purpose – to change how IT procurement works once and for all. To unite all purchases and simplify the processes. So Markit developed a system – online procurement market place where purchaser can meet all local IT distributors and simply buy whatever they want from whoever they want.
This system (as well as Markit) is well establish in 28 european countries, annual turnover of the group is 80 mio EUR and has 22% growth every year. Markit services use global customers such as Deloitte, ABB, Michelin, Johnson &Johnson, Western Union, Michelin and others. Currently Slovakia is managed from Czech Republic (local team of 6 people) but the time for a local branch has come.
I am looking for a person no.1. in Slovakia.  A leader, salesman and manager. Someone who is determined to get this party started. You get tools, investments, support and you will be expected to deliver sales results, opportunities and happy customers. One year you will play solo. After that you start hiring team – sales and support people – and you become manager and leader. That’s why I look for a strong sales guy as well as a strong people manager. And one last thing – do you know how to find out wheter is this job for you? Well, if it is for you – you love business and building things from scratch.

 

Goals:
Startup stage:
  • Effective implementation of business strategy to local market
  • Direct B2B sales focused on enterprise customers
    • acquisitions of new clients (dealing with IT managers, IT procurement)
    • key account management
    • engaging with already existing customers (developed via Czech office)
  • Developing relationship with partners (distributors, vendors)
  • Looking for success formula
  • Reporting to Head of Sales and group CEO
Growth And Establishment stage:
  • Responsibility for P/L based on 5 year plan and annual targets
  • Hiring of sales and support team
  • Delivering services on required level defined by group standards
Who are you/what you have:
  • Successful track record of value based solution sales preferably in IT/telco sector
  • Direct B2B sales with enterprise focus
  • Potential to lead/manage team (or you have already done that)
  • A person who cannot accept things easily
  • Developing and persistent person
  • Hunger and good values
  • Innovative and creative mindset
